Currently the initiative of the College of Human Ecology for Europe investigates in two locations:

Emmendingen in Baden-Wuerttemberg,
a town with mediaeval and baroque roots,
called itself "Gate to the Black Forest" (www.emmendingen.de), around 12 miles in the north of Freiburg im Breisgau and in the Upper Rhine Valley will spend the name "College of the Rhine Valley".

County Weissenburg-Gunzenhausen in Bavaria,
a region at the north-west border of the natural preserve Altmuehltal in the triangel  of Middle Franconia between Nuernberg, Regensburg and Donauwoerth. The town of Weissenburg (www.weissenburg.de) has completely preserved a mediaeval and baroque urban center with surrounding wall and a history back to the Roman Empire. This tradition will spend the name "College of Weissenburg"
