This workshop "The transdisciplinary experiment: The practical TransLAB"p"" is held by Dirk Marx and Eike Albrecht.
In order to be able to research transdisciplinarity (TD) methodologically, a format is needed that allows such an experiment to emerge in reality on site. The TransLAB, as a transformative laboratory with a transdisciplinary disposition, offers the necessary theoretical and practical framework. This consists of structure, atmosphere, the transformative dynamics and the idea of encountering transition as a condition for support and change. Theoretically, border objects offer a first processual-theoretical insight. What such an insight brings to light is reflection. The focus on theory, method and model as transformative expressions of (i) semantics and hermeneutics; (ii) paradigm inclusion; (iii) orientation and meaning and (iv) self-efficacy-feeling and awareness offers constructs to stabilise processual explanations. The TransLAB, as a presentable and 'walk-in' lecture on issues raised from more disciplinary perspectives, complements motivations from other discourses and ideally facilitates a dialogue that makes transition possible. Such a conclusion expresses transition through/with the help of the format "workshop" transdisciplinarily to such an extent that the experiences that can be presented are justifications with regard to active and passive relevancies of a thoroughly merged and thus new presence. Through the TransLAB, communities from science and practice receive a method that transforms them "inclusively".
